Janet worked as a cycling tour guide for a number of international bike tour companies before setting up e-whizz in 2013 to offer a more inclusive cycling experience using e-bikes.
e-whizz now operates high quality guided and self guided e-bike tours in the Burren and beyond. Janet believes in providing a rich experience without the struggle of battling the hills and the headwinds.
e-whizz is a business member of Burrenbeo Trust and a long term member and friend of the Burren Ecotourism Network. We use Leave No Trace practices in all of our operations.
The Burrenbeo Trust is an Irish charity dedicated to connecting people and place with the aim to help all of us identify ways in which we care for our places. Through a variety of programmes, including The Hare’s Corner, Farming for Nature and Heritage Keepers, but also through education, research, festivals and hands-on conservation action, the Trust works to ensure natural and cultural heritage are preserved for future generations.
